-Random Walks and Trees

When Katarina and I visited family for Thanksgiving we spent some time at my cousin's house.  One thing we did was go for a walk.....
We visited her neighbor's horses....
Along the way we saw the most random tree.....
This strangeness warranted a little trespassing to get a closer look....
Someone took the time to graft these two very different trees together.  Who does that?

 Cousins and Friends!  So sweet!
(This is one of my favorite pictures from that day!)
For more pictures of trees....most less random than mine....check out this week's Thematic Photography with Carmi.

  1. That tree reminds me of individuals in a marriage. Two very different individuals can be melded into one union but they need a strong trunk like God to support them.

  2. That's weird when you see two different trees growing as one. That last picture is cute.

  3. Haha, people do the darndest things, don't they? It's kinda cool though and it makes for a great photo for Carmi's theme.... I enjoyed.

Thankyou for jogging on over to my place, I appreciate.

  7. What an interesting tree! So strange to see the two halves growing side-by-side.

  8. Whoever decided on the oddball pairing, I wish to thank them. I can only imagine what motivated this.

Nature - with our help - never fails to delight.

  9. It's interesting, but truthfully, I don't think the two trees go together very well. Cool thing to do though.
