-Blog Carnival Against Child Abuse Hope and Joy Edition - Get Your Submissions in Now

This month I will be hosting the May Blog Carnival Against Child Abuse-Hope and Joy Edition.  I have participated in the past, but this is my first time hosting, so I am excited about that!  Here is all the info you need to participate......

-I will be taking submissions until May 19th, and the carnival will be up on May 21st.
-You can submit your posts here, or you can email the links to me at fromtracie@gmail.com (if you email it, please put something about May Blog Carnival in the subject line so I will open your email!)
-You can submit a new post written specifically for this carnival, or an old post from your archives.
-Also, you aren't limited to just one post, if you have several things that you would like to share, we would like to read them!
-You can submit any post that relates to child abuse.
-The categories are:
Advocacy & Awareness
Aftermath
Healing & Therapy
In the News
Poetry
Survivor Stories
Art Therapy

The theme this month is Hope and Joy, so in addition to the regular categories above, you can share about hope and joy!  What is your hope, what do you hold onto when the healing path gets dark and it is hard to hang on much longer?  What is your joy, what makes you smile and dance and laugh, even in the midst of pain?  I fully believe that as survivors it is important to share our stories and our pains and our troubles.  In this sharing we find a community, we find help and understanding, which is an important part of healing.  We also need to share our hopes and joys, we need to give them freely to other survivors who may have lost sight of theirs.

I can't wait to read all of your submissions!

******5/20-Edited to say......Due to problems with the submission site, I will be accepting submissions until midnight tonight!  I'll see y'all tomorrow with the carnival!

  2. This is excellent, Tracie! I just know you are going to be a GREAT host. I like what you said about the theme--so true. Just one little thing: don't forget our newest submission category which is art therapy. That way, folks can submit posts highlighting their drawings in their healing journals, paintings, collages at Polyvore, etc. Thanks!

I'll go add this new info to the Blog Carnival dot com listing. Have a great day! :) *hugs*
