-A Trip, a Cause, and a Baby that Needs You

As you are reading this, I am on the way to my dear friends, Christian and Leigh Anne's house.  They are graciously allowing me to take over their lives house office and computer for my blog-a-thon this weekend!  I will be staying up for 24 hours straight and posting each hour all while streaming live (so you can watch me in all my sleep deprived glory......*that alone might be worth donating!) to raise money for the Angela Shelton Foundation.  The Angela Shelton Foundation has helped to change my life by supporting me as I heal from the childhood sexual abuse that I survived, and I want to ensure that they are able to continue helping survivors, that is why I am doing this.

Now, since I am on the road.....I'm sure you will be wondering what you will do with all that spare time you will have since you don't have my blog to read for the next couple of days.  Here is an idea.....

Michelle Pixie's 16 month old daughter, Monkey, has recently been diagnosed with neuroblastoma.  The same cancer that Jaden is fighting.  The same cancer that took Ethan.  The first thing that I want to ask you to do is PRAY!  Then go visit Michelle, and leave some love and encouragement on her blog!

Go see Ian at the Daily Dose of Reality, who is planning Mission Monkey.  Please visit him and start following and get involved with helping this baby and her family.  He is putting together a raffle, and you can start buying "tickets" now (click on his link for all the details!) and you can also donate items to be raffled off.....anything you have will be accepted!!  Think Big!  Think Creative!  Share, Share, Share about this on twitter, facebook, and your blog!

I will be back in blog-land on Saturday morning at 6am EST to start the blog-a-thon!  Get ready for 24 hours of sleep deprived fun with Tracie! ...I'll see you there!
