-National Half-Price Candy Day

I would like to welcome all of you to the best holiday of the year.  It takes place each November 1st.....National Half-Priced Candy Day!   I plan to celebrate with as many bags of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and Heath Bars, plus a few Skittles, Starbursts, Twizzlers and other random sugary treats that will fit into my shopping buggy!  What about you?

Also, today is the start of NaBloPoMo.  I had been thinking about participating this year, but just found out last night that we will be visiting my mom (ie cleaning things that are taller than her, climbing on ladders, and possibly helping her to pack and move) the week before Thanksgiving, so there is no way that I can commit to a post each day while I will be gone.  I will, however, enjoy visiting all of you who are participating and reading all of your daily fun!  Good Luck!

Today is Sunday, and if you read my blog, you know that that means it is time for Sunday with Angela Shelton.  I am happy to announce that we won't be in Twitter today (I still can't figure that place out!) but she will be streaming live from Facebook!  It happens at 3pm Eastern.  Hope to see you there!

  1. You can always schedule posts ahead of time and then still participate even if you aren't able to get to your computer :) I think it would be a fun challenge...but I'm not sure if I have the gumption to try it myself...

  2. Hope all is ok with your Mom. Just so you know you can schedule posts to post on the days you'll be out of town! Not that I am trying to badger you into participating in NaBloPoMo. I understand when life takes over and blogging has to wait!!

I may have to stop by a store to take advantage of half price candy day!! Too Funny!!!

  6. I know this has nothing to do with this post, but I'm wondering if you'll put up photos of the squares and hats you've knitted? I'd really like to see them!

  7. I don't think I can get Lindt chocolate half price. I am a little jealous of all the candy all those kids have.
