Adventures in Facebook...or....What Bloggers Do On A Thursday Night

Last night I watched a movie. Camp Rock. With the Jonas Brothers.
(I'll give you a moment to let that set in, so you feel properly sorry for me...)

I snuck a peek at facebook and found that I wasn't alone.
Much More Than Mommy (MMTM for short) was right there with me watching it. This is the resulting conversation held over the course of the movie....

Around the same time, I was adding facebook like buttons to One Cluttered Brain's blog and having a separate series of conversations on another wall. Here is a peek into that fun....

(Her profile picture is awesome. It is One Cluttered Brain, kissing her laptop! Classic! Sadly, you can not see it, but just imagine with me, okay?)

Here it is! Did you watch Saved By The Bell?
I admitted that I did, you can too!

You can click this for the fancy version that CB found!

This ends your journey into my Thursday night facebook adventures and how blogging friends saved my evening. I will probably be back there again tonight, because Camp Rock-The Final Jam is coming on television. Feel free to distract me while it is on.

  7. Hilarious....I've decided the only time I'm going to let my kids watch the Disney Channel is when old school Kids Incorporated is on...there is no way on God's green earth I am watching Jones Brothers or anything with Zach and Cody...I mean, I'm all for sacrificing for your children, but that is simply out of the question.

Does your mind feel all confused now as to why you subjected it to the Jonas Brothers? Tracie, THE JONAS BROTHERS?!?!

  8. I still have a few more weeks before Camp Rock-The Final Jam makes its debut...I'm in Canada...yeah, we is slow...And see, I would welcome that because the kids would be occupied for two hours and I could kiss my laptop!

  9. ROFLMAO!!!!

Thankfully, the one kid who is old enough to appreciate The Jonas Brother's and Camp Rock cares more about video games. However, Claire has about 3-5 years before she gets me circa 1990 NKOTB on me. Me..NKOTB sheets, glitter pens, dolls, shoes, shirts........RED FACE!!! Although, I'm totally not gonna lie, I rocked out when they made their comeback. It was like being back in the 90's, minus the side pony and bicycle shorts that were slammin'.

Oh, and David and I just relived our SBTB days last week when that very episode was on. Screech made and awesome replacement.

  11. I'm glad you had some adult fun to make it bearable. I'm glad I don't have to watch it but I sometimes watch Barnie, God forbid, with my grandson.

I swear I swear I swear we are kindred spirits. I laughed and then realized I was laughing at a re-tread of facebook posts. Does that make me sad? No! Too funny. Your side comments cracked me up and I hope you get some guacamole soon!

  14. This is my first time visiting your blog Tracie, and this cracked me up. I feel so much better knowing I wasn't the only one subjected to Camp Rock. I've been through High School Musical, all 3, numerous times. Love the facebook wall! Hilarious!
