Who Needs Turkeys? Not I.

My world has no turkeys.

I do not have one in my backyard.

I do not have one in my oven.

And I will probably never have a turkey at the bowling lane.

Trifecta Writing Prompt:
33-333 words, including the 3rd definition of turkey.
Turkey: three successive strikes in bowling

Since I don't farm, cook, or bowl, I probably have no business writing about turkeys. I did write about bowling one time, and I made this great video to teach you how to be a better bowler:

...or, um, how not to be a better bowler?

Just don't bowl like me, and you will be fine. You might even get a turkey.

That really is all the bowling advice I have for you. You're welcome.

  2. I had no idea about the 3rd definition of turkey. . .not that it will ever come up in my life. I love bowling, but it doesn't love me back. Your video is awesome. . .I will have to try the dancing next time.

  3. LOL. I bowl like that too!!! Strangely, if I've had a drink or two it gets better. Maybe because I'm not thinking about it as much? :)

    1. You are so very welcome. Now you can do a field trip to the bowling alley on a slow day, and teach your boys!

  6. I never seem to have any turkeys either. I definitely need to fix that.
This is a short and fun piece! I like it.

  7. I don't know much about bowling (other than the fact that I am terrible at it) so I didn't know that turkey was even a bowling term. What about four successive strikes?
I did stop and wait for 4 wild turkeys to cross the road the other day. They were rather pokey but I enjoyed watching them. Wish I had had my camera!
